A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at our Council meetings capture the live information and send it, via our provider public-i to anyone that would like to view the meeting. Through the use of your Internet connection (either broadband or via a dial-up modem) and Adobe's Flash player you can view the meetings live from the comfort of your own home.
Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of the meeting again, then you can view the archive of the webcast. The archives allow you to view a meeting and, through the use of the index points, allow you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.
Wealden District Council is now webcasting its public meetings including Full Council, Cabinet, Planning North, Planning South, Audit and Finance, Overview and Scrutiny, Licensing, Standards and Personnel Committees.
Upcoming webcasts are listed on the right of this page, as well as recent webcast available to view from our archives. The archive of each meeting will normally be available 2 working days following the meeting.
From the Webcast screen, you will also be able to view any associated documents linked to the topics discussed at the meeting.
If you wish to view all future meetings including the minutes and agenda pages please see the calendar of meetings.
