Wealden District Council is now webcasting its public meetings including Full Council, Cabinet, Planning North, Planning South, Audit, Finance and Governance, Overview and Scrutiny, Licensing and Standards Committees. If you miss a meeting live, or would like to watch it again, there is a catch up facility in the Webcast Library.
A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at our Council meetings capture the live information and send it to anyone that would like to view the meeting. Through the use of your Internet connection and web browser you can view the meetings live from the comfort of your own home.
Once the meeting is finished you can view an archive of the webcast in the Webcast Library. The archives allow you to view a meeting and jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.
Upcoming webcasts and recent webcasts from our archives are listed on this page. All our webcasts should be archived within 2 working days of live broadcast and are available to view in the Webcast Library for 12 months after the meeting.
To view a webcast, simply click on the title of the meeting. On the webcast page, you can then view any slides or documents linked to the topics discussed at the meeting.
